Daniel Voccor of Lonnoc Village, Santo, Vanuatu
On a recent retreat to the island of Espiritu Santo, we met Daniel Voccor, a local villager and entrepreneur. Daniel and his family offer accommodation at Lonnoc Beach Bungalows in the remote northern region of Santo. The family built and maintains traditional bungalows on their beautiful beach, which they happily share with their visitors. They also have an excellent restaurant on site. The Voccor family lives nearby the beach, in a traditional Vanuatu village.
Lonnoc Beach
Vanuatu is an independent Melanesian island country located in the south Pacific that has accomplished significant development since its independence from France and Britain 25 years ago. Though the capital and major cities have electric services, most rural areas have no electricity. There are presently no central electrical services in northern Espiritu Santo where Lonnoc Village is located.
The bungalows and the Voccor family homes presently rely on diesel generators to produce electricity. To conserve fuel and reduce transportation costs, power use is limited to food refrigeration and lighting in common areas.
Lonnoc Beach Bungalows
Daniel would like to put in solar systems to take advantage of the island’s prolific sunshine, and to reduce or avoid using non-renewable energy resources on the island. Solar equipment, installation, and expert consultation are beyond the present means of the Voccor family, and no assistance is presently available through the government or existing aid programs.
Lonnoc Village
Enlightened Life Sanctuary has created a donation program for the Voccor family to help them get solar systems in place for the family homes in the village, and the bungalow business.

Alchemical Yoga Network Fund
Your donation to the Alchemical Yoga Network Fund helps Alchemical Yoga to grow and reach others. The fund is used to support training and practice gatherings, to offer scholarships for the AY teacher-training program, and to develop AY practice groups throughout the U.S.

Enlightened Life Forums
A significant aspect of the mission of Enlightened Life Sanctuary is the creation of enlightened life on earth via new systems of human endeavor born from the unified consciousness. To this end, the Sanctuary will host moderated forums devoted to aiding the establishment of innovative systems that will create and sustain enlightened life on earth.
Wise people know that global systems are presently functioning in a way that is far too separate from the people they are meant to serve, too focused on material life, greed, and self-interests, and inherently limiting to individual personal expansion and harmonious life on earth. The earth itself is now at risk from these dysfunctional systems. We know that systems based on such self- interest historically have always failed.
Be aware, we are living at a unique time, a time of epic transformation. Rather than feeling frustrated within the limitations of present systems, we must use our collective spiritual resources wisely, on every plane, to prepare a new way
Enlightened Life Forums offer a method to inspire the birth of unified systems, and to support the creation of model systems that can first be implemented in innovative and alternative settings where their potentials can be explored and refinements integrated. When these prototypical holistic systems are operational within alternative community structures, they may serve as foundational models and resources for a vital future needs as the old structures self-destruct and fall away.
Enlightened Life Forums are designed to uncover and challenge limitations in thought and action in order to free the creative nature from the duality based constructs and conditionings that are inherent in present cultural systems; and to bring forth new perspectives, radical solutions, and new systems derived from within the unified field of consciousness.
Enlightened Life Forums provide the framework for setting up experiential villages within which new social models can be established, experienced, and adjusted with the goal of establishing more empowered and enlightened ways of living together harmoniously on earth. Forums will focus on a variety of topic areas including religion, education, health care and nutrition, food supply and distribution, organic agriculture, trade, philanthropy, the environment, government and law, and global culture.
The forums will initially seek participants who are already thinking outside of present social constructs, and who want to work on establishing innovative systems changes in a way that they will not be compromised or limited by any existing theory or system. The forums will take place over several years with international participants in a variety of venues.
Donations to the program provide seed monies to promote and organize the forums, and for grants to establish model programs.
